Congratulations to our April Students of the Month. From the Freshman class is Travis Hosea, Sophomore Jacob Dexter, Junior Sarah Martin, and Senior Garrett Fisher. We would also like to recognize the MMTC Students of the Month as well. They are Robbie Moore from the Mass Media program, Dalton Pushard enrolled in the CTE Academy and Logan Poissonier who is a student in the Construction Technology program. We would also like to congratulate Annie Dobos, Jake Bernatchez, and Chris French for being selected as this year’s Shine On Cass Award recipients. Their dedication to the Big Brother/Big Sister program is a testament to their willingness to make the lives of their “littles” a little brighter.
The next month and a half are going to pass by rather quickly. Those of you who are parents of seniors will be receiving the end of the year calendar and graduation contracts in the mail within the next week. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me at your convenience. If your son/daughter has not paid their class dues and are graduating this June the $80.00 must be received before they can receive their cap and gown. If this requirement is a financial burden for you please call me. We can usually waive most of the dues but ask that the student pay the $27.00 for the cap and gown.
On Saturday, May 6th is the Junior/Senior Prom. This year it is being held at the Waterville Elks Club. The dance runs from 8:00-12:00 and all students must arrive at the dance no later than 9:00 pm. If your son/daughter is planning to bring a guest from another school they must get a guest permission form, located outside the main office, fill it out and return it to Mr. Bowers or Mr. Dunbar by Wednesday, May 3rd.
If you are able to attend the next Budget Hearing I would invite you to do so. It will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd at Messalonskee Middle School. Thank you to those who have already been a participant in these discussions.
Enjoy the week
